The following return policy applies only to purchases made online at sportsexperts.ca. If you have made a purchase at one of our Sports Experts stores in Canada or Atmosphere stores in Quebec, please refer to the Store Return Policy.

Refund

It will be our pleasure, upon presentation of your electronic receipt, to refund any new and unused merchandise in its original packaging, until January 8th 2017, excluding December 26th and 27th 2016, at any Sports Experts or Intersport store in Canada or Atmosphere store in Quebec only, or directly at our Sports Experts / Atmosphere distribution centre. All refunds will be made in the same form of payment as the original purchase. All shipping and oversize product fees that may have been charged at the time of purchase are non-refundable. No refund will be accepted on December 26th and 27th 2016.

If you wish to return a product to our distribution centre, please refer to its return instructions. The postmarked date on the package will be considered the date of return. Sports Experts and Atmosphere are not responsible for any shipping, handling, packaging or any other potential fees incurred as a result of products returned to our distribution centre.

The following items cannot be refunded or exchanged: swimsuits, biking shorts, undergarments, sport bras, socks, athletic supports and mouth guards.

For security reasons there are no refunds or exchanges on climbing equipment with certification such as: carabiners and connectors, straps, pads, ropes, harnesses, slings, quickdraws and belay devices.

Exchanges

It will be our pleasure, upon presentation of your electronic receipt, to exchange any new and unused merchandise in its original packaging, until January 8th 2017, excluding December 26th and 27th 2016, at any Sports Experts or Intersport store in Canada or Atmosphere store in Quebec only. Exchanges will not be possible directly through our Sports Experts / Atmosphere distribution centre. No exchanges will be accepted on December 26th and 27th 2016.

Warranty

It will be our pleasure, upon presentation of your electronic receipt, to repair or exchange, at the store’s discretion, any defective merchandise at any Sports Experts or Intersport store in Canada or Atmosphere store in Quebec only, or directly with a representative of our Customer Service Department. If the defective merchandise cannot be repaired or exchanged, you will be reimbursed for your purchase. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, improper use and accidental breakage. Hockey stick breakage during use will be subject to the manufacturer’s limited 30-day warranty (this service is available at Sports Experts or Intersport stores in Canada only). Return Instructions

For your convenience, there are two available options for items eligible to be returned:

  • Return to our distribution centre;
  • Return to a retail store.

For full details on each return option, please read the information below.

RETURN TO OUR DISTRIBUTION CENTRE

If you wish to return an item to our distribution centre:

  1. Call Sports Experts / Atmosphere Customer Service at 1-844-680-2070 or send an email to service.sportsexperts@fglsports.com or service.atmospherefr@fglsports.com. Make sure to provide the Customer Service representative with your order number. You will then receive by email a shipping voucher, which will include a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and the return address of the distribution centre. NOTE: You cannot return your order unless you complete this step.
  2. Pack the unused/unworn item(s) securely in the original product packaging with all paperwork, parts, and accessories to ensure credit.
  3. Go to a Canada Post office with your shipping voucher, which you will put in the self-adhesive envelope provided. Make sure all extra labels are removed from the outside of the box.
  4. The package should be returned to our distribution centre:

  1. A return shipping charge of $8 will be deducted from the approved refund amount for all orders returned to our distribution centre. A $10 additional fee will apply to any return including an oversize item – a package with a dimension of 1 meter or longer. Take note that all returns made in store are free. We cannot accept cash on delivery (C.O.D.).
  2. We recommend that you keep the return tracking number for your records. We will not be responsible for any damaged, misdirected or lost return packages.
  3. To receive credit, items must be returned within 15 days following the receipt of your Sports Experts / Atmosphere order confirmation email . The postmark date of the return package will be considered the return date.
  4. You can expect a refund, in the same form of payment originally used for the purchase, within two (2) weeks of our reception of the returned item(s).
  5. Returned item(s) to the distribution centre will be credited to the original purchaser’s account.

RETURN TO A RETAIL STORE

To avoid all return shipping fees, you may return an item to any of our Sports Experts or Intersport retail stores in Canada or Atmosphere stores in Quebec only.

Please follow the following instructions:

  1. Pack the unused/unworn item(s) securely in the original product packaging with all paperwork, parts, and accessories to ensure credit.
  2. Bring your electronic receipt with you to the store as a proof of purchase and price paid.
  3. To receive credit, items must be returned within 15 days following the receipt of your Sports Experts / Atmosphere order confirmation email .
  4. If a promo card was used for partial or total payment, the in store refund will be made in the same form of payment originally used for the purchase; you will then receive a new promo card, if the promotion is still valid. Otherwise, the refund will be provided by means of  a gift-card equivalent to the promo card value.
