Established in Baltimore, MD since 1998, Under Armour is a company specialized in the manufacture and distribution of sports equipment, footwear and sportswear for men, women and children. It all started in a rowhouse of Washington, D.C. in 1996, when Kevin Plank created a prototype sweat-wicking t-shirt, or “The Shorty”. The following year, Under Armour introduced its Heatgear®, Coldgear® and AllSeasonGear® iconic technologies and the rest is history.
