Blaze 86 - Adult Powder and Alpine Touring Skis

The Volkl Blaze 86 adult powder and alpine touring skis feature all-mountain precision in freeriding dimensions with the light weight of touring skis. The Blaze 86 (86 mm under the boot) offer an ideal combination of smooth “surfing” and light weight for the intermediate to advanced level skier. As well as featuring a 3D radius sidecut, they are built with a full tip-to-tail wood core. Thanks to suspension elements integrated into the contours of the tip and tail, the Blaze 86 can handle adverse windblown conditions. The elastic rubber material applied to the tip and tail acts as a shock absorber and ensures increased resistance to disturbances and optimized flotation. These all-mountain alpine skis are designed for negotiating short, fast turns. However, their three different curvature radii, combined in particular with the multi-layer wood core extending from the tip to the tail, are suitable for all types of sliding and are suitable for all uses, even the most ambitious.
